New daytime training opportunity: Three Designations with Aligned Preparation Pathways

On January 27, Advancing ECE as a Profession in Vermont is offering a special daytime opportunity to take our PD Session 2: Three Designations with Aligned Preparation Pathways. After participating, your feedback will offer critical information to the Task Force as we choose how we might align with recommendations from Power to the Profession.
PLUS: door prizes! Three attendees will win a Winter Survival Kit gift pack from our friends at Let\’s Grow Kids!

Weds., January 27, 2020, 12 p.m. Register here!

Presenters:

Outreach Coordinator: Rachel Hunter
Task Force Members: Kim Freeman, Christina Goodwin

Description:

The route to becoming an early educator has often been confusing, too costly, and time consuming for many to achieve. Offering training that does not lead to attainment of valid ECE credentials and degrees, or training that is unaffordable does an injustice to the field.
After this Northern Lights-approved online real-time training, participants will be able to:
  • Describe Power to the Profession recommendations for Three Designations with Aligned Preparation Pathways
  • Describe Phased-in Implementation that honors the existing workforce and the future workforce
  • Understand ways to continue to engage with this work
