Administration of the VT Child Development Division Grants and Bonuses
VTAEYC now is administering the VT Child Development Division grants and bonuses. See below for information and links to the applications.
Professional Development Grants
Please Note: Vermont Association for the Education of Young Children (VTAEYC) requires that you complete the W-9 form and send it with your bonus or grant application. This form is required for VTAEYC to make payments.
This grant assists registered providers and licensed center staff with the assessment fee to attain the Child Development Associate (CDA).
This grant assists registered providers and licensed center staff with the cost of college courses that are related to working with children and families.
This grant assists registered providers and licensed center staff with the peer review assessment fee for VT Department of Education licensure.
This application is for Vermont residents working in a regulated child care program to assist with the cost of applying for a GED.
Afterschool Professional Recognition Bonus
A financial bonus is available for staff of Vermont regulated afterschool programs that have achieved VT professional development certificates, credentials, or degrees. Contact the following for the appropriate application:
Level Certificates continue to be processed by Northern Lights at CCV. You would find the Level Certificate applications here (https://northernlightscdc.org/career-pathways/early-childhood-pathways/) and complete them according to the instructions on the application. Northern Lights at CCV will review the completed applications, send the certificates to the CDD to be signed and mailed, and send the application and related paperwork to VTAEYC to review for bonus eligibility. If the applicant is eligible, VTAEYC will be sending the bonus.
