Amanda "Mandi" Menard

ECE Program Specialist

Mandi joined VTAEYC as an ECE Program Specialist in 2023. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and a Master’s in Organizational Management and Leadership from Springfield College.

Mandi joined the field of early childhood education in 2005 and has held many roles throughout her professional journey. She has had the joy of being a licensed teacher, program owner, program director, higher education faculty member, lecturer, leadership consultant, mentor, coach, and advocate. In addition to her work in early childhood education, Mandi spent almost three years working alongside other skilled professionals within the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. Mandi has worked closely with families and service providers within Vermont’s communities to increase natural support for those experiencing complex trauma. She is a dedicated advocate that all children and families should have equitable access to resources that ensure their safety, stability, and wellness. Mandi holds a firm belief that ensuring that early educators have access to adequate education and professional development systems and opportunities is instrumental in these efforts.

Mandi is a lifelong Vermonter and currently lives in Saint Albans with her family, including her two very loving and very hairless cats. During her personal time, she is an avid reader, a frequent camper, always on the hunt for a good documentary or podcast, and a steadfast believer in the magic of play.
