Early Bird pricing ends September 11, 2022. General registration closes October 4.

3. How do I know if I am a VTAEYC member?

Login to your NAEYC account and on your profile page, it will tell you your membership level, expiration date, and “Customer ID” number (which is your member number) in a blue banner. If you still have trouble, email us at conference@vtaeyc.org and we can find out if you’re a current member.

4. How do I add a membership so I can get the Member registration rate?

When purchasing registration, after you select the registration ticket you want, scroll down to the add-ons (before you click “Checkout”) and click the “Become a Member” drop down. This will allow you to choose which membership you want to add to your registration ticket.

5. What if I didn’t receive an email confirmation after registering?

6. Can I change my workshop selections after I’ve signed up?

You are able to change your workshop selections until October 1. You can do this directly through Eventbrite. Workshops are first-come, first-serve and many are limited.

7. What if I can’t make it to the conference?

You can cancel your registration for a full refund up to 30 days before the conference. Within 30 days, we will look at situations on a case-by-case basis. If you can’t attend, but have someone who can go in your place, you can transfer your registration to that person. If you have questions, email us at conference@vtaeyc.org.

Event Space

1. I am a mom, can I bring my child?

Yes, if you have a child under the age of 1, you can bring him/her to the conference. We do not have childcare at the conference.

2. Will there be a nursing mother’s room?

Yes! We will have a hotel guest room designated for this. The location is TBA.

3. Will there be WiFi on site?

Yes, more information TBA.

4. Is there parking available?

Yes, there is a city parking garage with entrances on Cherry Street, College Street, and Battery street (entrance is to the right of the Hilton if you are looking at the hotel). On the third floor of the garage is a skybridge that connects to a back entrance of the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain. The rate is $8 per day and can be paid at one of the kiosks found throughout the garage or by using the ParkMobile app.

5. What are the current COVID-19 guidelines for the conference?

VTAEYC is following recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and will abide by the legal mandates of the State of Vermont and the requirements of the Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain at the time of the 2022 VTAEYC Annual Conference.

Due to the recent CDC guidance update, VTAEYC will no longer require proof of vaccination, negative COVID-19 tests, or masking in order to attend.

However, all participants are STRONGLY encouraged to (1) stay “up to date” with their COVID-19 vaccinations including any boosters, and (2) obtain a negative COVID-19 PCR test or rapid antigen test prior to attending the Event.

By attending, participants accept responsibility to act in the best interests of their health, the health of others who attend, and the communities to which they will return after the conference. We ask that all attendees respect others and their personal choices with respect to wearing a mask. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

The Hilton Burlington Lake Champlain is taking additional measures to help reduce the spread of COVID-19. They provide thorough, daily cleaning of our public areas and Lysol Stations are available with sanitizing wipes in the public areas. For guests staying at the hotel, housekeeping is tailored to the guest’s comfort and available upon request and guests may join Hilton Honors for a contactless arrival.  The app allows you to check-in, choose your room, and unlock your door with a digital key.

VTAEYC will continue to monitor and update safety precautions for the conference and coordinate with trusted national resources, state and local public health agencies, and the venue. VTAEYC reserves the right to modify these policies and procedures at any time.
