This virtual 1+1+1 series is designed for Infant, Toddler, and Family Child Care educators who are new to the updated CLASS® tool. Now combined into a single version for both age groups, this evidence-based system supports high-quality interactions that foster learning and development—and is a key part of Vermont’s QRIS (STARS).
In the first session, educators will explore the new CLASS® domains and dimensions, view real classroom footage, and identify interaction strategies together. Between sessions, participants will try out a strategy in their setting, then return to reflect, share experiences, and strengthen their practice through peer learning.
- Session 1 (Oct. 1):Â Get grounded in the basics of the CLASS framework and why it matters.
- Practice:Â Apply what you’ve learned through a short observation activity.
- Session 2 (Oct. 15):Â Reflect on your experience, deepen your understanding, and discuss next steps.
