VTAEYC is the state’s largest membership organization for early childhood educators and the state affiliate of NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children. As a nonprofit organization formed by a grassroots effort over 50 years ago and now with 500+ members, VTAEYC offers professional development, workforce development programs, and quality supports. With a growing staff, a dedicated board, and a collaborative approach, VTAEYC aims to meet the needs of today’s ECE workforce and programs and create a stronger, more equitable early childhood education system for the future.

Senior Grants Manager
VTAEYC is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Senior Grants Manager.
The Senior Grants Manager plays a pivotal role in driving the organization’s grant strategy and execution, ensuring that all grant-funded activities align with organizational priorities and long-term goals. This position oversees the full lifecycle of grant management-including pre-award review, post-award compliance, reporting, invoicing, and close-out-while working cross-functionally across all departments. The Senior Grants Manager ensures that grant implementation supports programmatic impact, financial accountability, and the organization’s broader mission and strategic direction.
Assessment Specialist
VTAEYC is seeking a full-time (40 hours per week) Assessment Specialist.
VTAEYC is looking for an Assessment Specialist. The position serves the Vermont System for Program Access to Resources for Quality Supports (SPARQS). The Assessment Specialist will be skilled in providing objective classroom observations, technical assistance, and high-quality professional development to support programs engaged in continuous quality improvement within Vermont’s Quality Recognition System (QRS), STep Ahead Recognition System (STARS).
We are especially seeking candidates who are based in Caledonia, Essex, Lamoille, or Franklin Counties
