Resources for those Affected by Flooding

Was your program or the families in your care impacted by the devastating flooding this week? VTAEYC wants to offer information and resources to support you and we will continue to share information as it becomes available.
The State of Vermont has created a page titled Vermont Flood Resources Guide to enable Vermonters to navigate important things to do and available resources in one initial stop.
These other organizations have direct supports available and can provide additional information for you and your families:
You can also check out and share with families these national resources for coping with disasters.
If you’re interested in supporting other Vermonters, we recommend visiting
  • The State of Vermont: You can sign up to be a general volunteer.
  • The Vermont Community Foundation: They are seeking donations for the VT Flood Response and Recovery Fund 2023. They are also continuing to share helpful resources and information
  • United Way: Please support your local United Way’s effort to get help where it’s needed most by giving today
We hope to maintain this post as more information become available to us. If you have specific questions or want to share resources, please reach out to us at info@vtaeyc.org or complete the Contact Us form.
