Paula Nadeau

Hello, My name is Paula Nadeau. I live in Waterbury with my husband, our two young sons and our spirited poodle. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services focused on Early Childhood Education Administration from Springfield College. I have spent 18 years working in ECE performing a wide variety of roles within the field including owning a small, licensed center-based program for a number of years.

Over the last several years I have worked on statewide committees and workgroups to professionalize and establish competencies for Early Educators in Vermont.  I have seen the workforce change dramatically over my nearly two decades of experience working directly with children and families, and it has made a huge difference in the quality of care that children are receiving. I am passionate about advocating for recognition of the critical nature of early education in healthy families and for the educators that are the backbone of this system.

In my free time, I love doing puzzles, dancing like nobody’s watching, traveling, and watching documentaries. I’ve also found a new love of watching my kids play sports.
