Heather Martin

Heather Martin is an early childhood program consultant, and serves as the new Student Loan Repayment Assistance Program Director. She has over 20 years of experience in the early education field, serving as an assistant, lead teacher, center director, grant writer, and program consultant. Heather has dedicated a great deal of time to expanding capacity in existing programs as well as establishing new programs by offering consultation in technical assistance, capacity building, financial planning, business development, grant writing, coordination with stakeholders and funding sources. In addition to her work with early childhood programs, she has worked with Castleton University, as they develop their early education degree program in their effort to support the early education workforce. In addition to consultation, Heather enjoys working with other advocates on behalf of early educators and families as Vermont develops an innovative high-quality early education system.
