Chani graduated from the University of Vermont in 2020. She has previously volunteered with children in many capacities, from a Head Start preschool classroom to Special Olympics and Vermont Adaptive. Her interest in education for children led her to VTAEYC and T.E.A.C.H.

Chani enjoys skiing, running, hiking, and other outdoor activities. She loves to travel, go on adventures, and play with her dog.
