Brenda holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Master of Science
in Organizational Leadership from Union Institute and University.

Brenda is a graduate of the 2015 Snelling Center’s Early Childhood Institute Inaugural Class.
Brenda has held many roles in the field of early childhood in Vermont, including Preschool
Teacher, Family Child Care Owner, STARS Assessor, CDA PD Specialist, and currently, Northern
Lights Master Level Trainer, Strengthening Families Trainer, and Northern Vermont University
Adjunct Faculty.

Brenda is passionate about working with adults, children and families in the field of early
childhood, and has been committed to this work for the past 28 years.

Brenda is currently the TEACH and Vermont Early Childhood Apprenticeship Program Manager.

Brenda lives in Bennington with her husband, daughter and three sweet dogs. When she is not
working, she enjoys reading, listening to music, cooking, gardening, exploring beautiful
Vermont, and spending time with family and friends.
