The scholarship covers 80% of the cost of tuition and 90% of the cost of books. An access stipend is also provided each term while taking classes and a $250 bonus upon completion of the scholarship contract. T.E.A.C.H. staff provide counseling and administrative support for the program.

For those going through the Peer Review process, the scholarship will cover 80% of the Peer Review


The director must contribute up to 10% of the cost of tuition/Peer Review fee (20% if you are a director/owner) and 10% of the cost of books. The director must successfully complete 3-9 credits through the Vermont Agency of Education’s Higher Education Collaborative with coursework at Northern Vermont University in Early Childhood Education or Early Childhood Special Education, Champlain College’s Portfolio Development course and/or complete the peer review process during the one-year scholarship contract. The director must continue employment with the sponsoring center for one year after completing the course requirements or Peer Review process.
