DESCRIPTION:This session is a hands-on introduction for early childhood education (ECE) professionals who are new to artificial intelligence (AI) or have experimented with it a bit. SUMMARY:Burlington South Network: Temperament-Focused Approaches to Challenging Behavior
DESCRIPTION:Each of us has a unique\, innate style that informs how we see and interact with the world. Understanding these differences can give us insight into behaviors we find challenging in others. This training will offer a framework for understanding what drives behavior and how adults can use this insight to support all children in a diverse classroom. We will learn about different temperament types and identify the strengths and challenges of each. Participants will learn practical strategies for observing temperament\, adapting environments\, and responding to challenging behaviors in ways that honor each child’s individual differences. We will also reflect on how our own temperament impacts our approach and discuss strategies for increasing the “goodness of fit” in our relationships. \nThis is a Burlington South Network Training. If you are interested in joining the Burlington South Network\, please select the appropriate option within the question: “Are you a member of the Burlington South Network?” \nDate & Time: April 29\, 2026\, 6:00PM-8:00PM \nTrainers: Aricha Drury \nLocation: Zoom \nClick Here to Register
